All you want to know about Quebec Immigration
This is the application process for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents of Canada and live in Quebec. Quebec and the Canadian government have a special agreement on immigration. The province has its own rules for selecting immigrants who are well adjusted to life there.
To immigrate to Canada as a Quebec selected skilled worker, you must apply in the following two steps:
1. Apply to the Quebec government for the Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec [CSQ]). Quebec will use its own rules to evaluate it. This certificate shows that Quebec has accepted you as an immigrant.
2. If you are chosen by Quebec and provide you with a CSQ, you must apply for permanent residence to the Canadian Department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship.
