  • Post graduate certificates: 1 year or 2 years
  • Baccaulaureate programs: 4 years (rarely 3 years)
  • Masters: 1 or 2 years
  • PhD: 4 years

Tests/IELTS requirements

Many masters programs require GRE/GMAT depending on the stream you are applying for. For most programs usually IELTS/TOEFL requirement is a must. For diplomas and certificates, usually an overall score of 6.0 with min 6.0 in each band is enough. However for post graduate/Masters/PhD overall 6.5 is required usually.

 

Multiple Intakes

September (main intake)/ January/May

Usually applying within 4 months of proposed program start is enough for programs in colleges. However, for Masters and PhD, students should apply 8-10 months prior to proposed program start.

Fees/Scholarships

Tuition fee usually ranges between 8 -9 Lakhs per year. It could vary across different colleges and universities.

 

Working part time

Students are entitled to work 20 hours a week during study period and full time during semester breaks.

 

Post graduate work permit

Usually 1 year programs have post graduate work permit of 1 year and 2 or more years programs have 3 years post graduate work permit.
