Eligibility Criteria for Studying in Sweden

Academic Requirements:

  • Undergraduate Programs: Completion of upper secondary education equivalent to the Swedish school system with good grades. Specific requirements depend on the course and university.
  • Postgraduate Programs: A recognized undergraduate degree with a satisfactory GPA. Some programs may require work experience or a specific undergraduate major.

Language Proficiency:

  • English: IELTS (usually 6.5 or higher), TOEFL (90-100 or higher), or other accepted tests.
  • Swedish: For programs taught in Swedish, proficiency in Swedish (TISUS test or equivalent) is required.

Financial Proof:

Proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living expenses, if applicable.

Visa Requirements:

Non-EU/EEA students need to apply for a residence permit for studies in Sweden.
